Delta Tours is proud to participate in several government-funded initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality, accessibility, and sustainability of tourism. These projects enable us to contribute to the development of the tourism sector while ensuring long-term benefits for the environment, local communities, and travelers.

The project is implemented within the framework of the 2022-2030 Economic Transformation and Competitiveness Development Programme Progress Measure No 05-001-01-12-07 “Developing Tourism Infrastructure and Developing Marketing Measures” under the activity “Promoting Inbound Tourism through Business Development Initiatives”.

The project will contribute to reducing the impact of these causes:

– low awareness of Lithuania as a tourist destination

– too few tourists and partners abroad

The project aims to increase Lithuania’s visibility as a tourist destination and the number of foreign tourists and partners abroad.

Participation in 3 major international tourism exhibitions: the Paris Tourism Fair IFTM Top Resa Paris, 17-19 September 2024; the London Tourism Fair WTM London, 5-7 November 2024; and the Berlin Tourism Fair ITB Berlin 2025. 4-6 March. These exhibitions are the main tourism exhibitions in Europe for the three markets: German, French and English. The exhibitions will include meetings with existing and potential partners, B2B activities. During the meetings, the company’s representatives will present to the partners travel products, i.e. tour programmes in Lithuania: classic, active, gastronomic, leisure, etc.

The project is co-financed by the State of the Republic of Lithuania.

EURO-EMOTUR is a project co-funded by the European Commission under the Executive Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (EASME). Euro-Emotur project’s main goal is to boost the uptake of digitalisation and innovation by tourism SMEs through transnational cooperation and capacity building. This will lead to generating a digital innovation ecosystem and hub, and improving their competitiveness in the market through digitalization.

EURO-EMOTUR project represents an opportunity to change the game in the European tourism industry through digital transition. This project connects SMEs with digital technologies through people (tourists’ emotions) and knowledge (labs).

More specifically, 100 tourism SMEs supported by this project will benefit from:

  • Advances in developing a new mindset to face the digital ecosystem, working with a transnational (20 countries) and innovation approach.
  • Upskill and reskill, developing new digital competencies.
  • Customize visitor´s experience by adapting digital contents through new technology possibilities and the mentoring from tourism labs (BSO).
  • Improve competencies to succeed in direct marketing services both B2C and B2B, using neuromarketing techniques (virtual reality, augmented reality, face coding, eye tracking, EEG and physiological analysis) and a scientific emotional approach.
  • Drafting new products and services in the digital ecosystem.
  • Drafting new business models adapted to the European digital ecosystem.
  • Fostering innovative solutions through public-private partnerships and cooperation, connecting SMEs (including peer to peer learning), technology suppliers, tourism labs and regions within the tourism ecosystem.
  • Developing structural connections within the European tourism ecosystem through the Euro-Emotur digital hub.

The pandemic situation in the world has made businesses to adapt and focus on modern tendencies – online sales. More and more businesses are moving to online space and the tourism sector is not an exception. In order to remain competitive the company wants to implement a self-service travel system that will not only increase sales but also optimize the work of the company’s employees.

The purpose of the project: Using innovative solutions to increase not only the company’s competitiveness and attractiveness but also the volume of the company income.

The period of implementation: 2022.02. – 2023.02.

Total value of the project: EUR 49,270.00.

New design of content and form of travel programs for customers / travelers. No 13.1.1-LVPA-K-861-01-0034

We are the incoming tour operator; our product is travel in Lithuania and other Baltic countries which are offered to the foreign tourists. The company wants to purchase the design development and implementation service of the travel creation program. This service would be the travel program module presented for the customer and offering to conclude a business transaction. It will indicate the duration of the travel, proposed tourist attractions with their descriptions (in three languages) and photographs (photo bank will be created), and generated map of the proposed route. The new service will not only give a new and innovative image of the company, but also save company resources and give professionalism to the employees.

The purpose of the project: To increase the company’s competitiveness and attractiveness through innovative solutions. To create and implement a new design travel program development model that would be modern, unified, attractive, professional looking, quick to prepare and widely used.

The period of implementation: 2022.01 – 2022.06
